- Steam Dragon Tin Toy
- About Tucher + Walther
Tucher + Walther pride themselves on their traditional tin toy making methods, which is no different than when they were made at the peak of their production back in 1880 - techniques that are all but lost among today’s manufacturers. Each tin toy starts out as a single piece of tin plate. Artists then cut the tin into individual pieces and punch, stamp, curve and emboss them. Once the individual pieces have been completed, they are soldered together by hand, have their steam mechanisms fit, are sprayed with color and, finally, embellished with paint by hand.
Limited to only 100 pieces worldwide, this tin Steam Dragon is numbered and comes complete with its own certificate of authenticity and box for safekeeping.
