Handmade in Germany by Angela Schulz, one of the world’s premier bear artists, Gregor loves to wear his favorite outfit. It is easy to appreciate and admire the talent and artistry involved in creating such remarkable heirloom creatures.  Limited to only 10 pieces worldwide, Gregor is made with genuine white mohair, is fully jointed and has a gold embroidered nose and black, glass bead eyes.  He comes dressed in his brown felted shoes, handmade tweed pants, hand-knit sweater and eclectic hat.  Angela’s creativity and imagination give Gregor his charming style and signature Ositos look. 

Each Ositos-Baeren bear is numbered and comes with its very own canvas bag for safekeeping.

Angela Schulz, born in Bad Aibling, Germany in 1974, has been making remarkable bears and other creatures for more than 8 years.  It was her husband Peter who initially encouraged her to start selling her creations.  Just after setting up a workshop at her local School of the Arts five years ago, she started making her bears. 

She calls her creations “Ositos,” meaning “little bear” in Spanish in honor of her mother who is from Chile.  She says her Mom is her biggest fan, toughest critic and a huge help to her throughout the creative process.
